Briar pipes

The briar I use for my pipes comes from Calabria (south Italy) and Tuscany, and I season it for a long time in my temperature and humidity controlled laboratory. The colours used are transparent and natural.

As in the original system, the Le Nuvole spigot pipe has a detachable mouthpiece. The conical base of the mouthpiece (tenon), which is made of silver, fits perfectly into the conical socket on the shank of the pipe (mortise), which is also made of silver.

All my pipes bands on are in 925/1000 silver.

Le nuvole pipes are guaranteed, except for the replacement of the mounthpiece.

Mouthpieces

mouthpiece of smoking pipes I use mouthpieces that are only partially cut and are made of acrylic, the material I prefer because it does not lose its luster with time and it's both more hygienic and neutral-tasting.
In addition, and thanks to the meticulous manual work involved in the shaping and finishing of each piece, I manage to obviate the poor ductility of the material, giving it the characteristics that are conducive to comfort when the pipe is clenched on.

"... very interesting is the sign on the mouthpiece, which conjures up the image of trail or a cloud of smoke: It's the first logo I see that is neither geometrical nor symmetrical." Amici della pipa, Anno XX - n. 4 luglio/agosto 1997"
